STILL LANDSCAPE

I rummaged through my past. Right here, inside. I dreamed that photography could carry me. I was wrong, and understood that memories are reminiscences. Remembering is a disproportion. Something twisted, made up. I opened different doors since even the photos were uncertain. There were events such my First Holy Communion at Santo Antônio do Pari Church; the ballet group guided by teacher Toshie Kobayashi; places like Vale do Anhangabaú, the Municipal Theater of São Paulo and the school Santa Terezinha do Menino Jesus. Much of who I have been and done and less of who I am now. I had to search in my memory, through the cracks of visible things, the understanding that life remains a landscape.
